Glencairn is excited to announce the return of violinist Blanca Cecilia González and pianist Jesse Elder. Previously known as 1IN2, the duo has embarked on a new project called Musiquita. A collaborative effort that started shortly after Blanca and Jesse had their second child, they are not only musical partners but life partners as well. Musiquita! is a delightful exploration of Spanish and English music and songs, blending not just music, but also language and culture, to create a joyful celebration suitable for all ages.

Blanca and Jesse have drawn inspiration from various musical sources, combining elements of classical music with jazz, Latin rhythms, original compositions, and diverse popular music styles, as well as incorporating free improvisation. Their live performances are a continuous work in progress, evolving as they make new discoveries.

More recently, Jesse and Blanca have been enjoying themselves while performing a new interactive, immersive, and family-oriented music, circus, and art experience called Mindful Manipulations at the 3AM Theatre studio in Long Island City, New York (through December 10, 2023).

Juggler Kyle Driggs, upright bassist Steve Whipple, and French horn virtuoso Peter DelGrosso will join Musiquita. Adults and children can look forward to a highly entertaining and colorful show featuring a variety of acts when Musiquita graces the castle!
